Thermal cameras used to check for leaks in bottles

What:

As it works out that leaks in liquid products eg liquid soap are a couple of degree cooler than the product it self. This can be intensified if air is blow accross the surface.

Operation:
In this application Automation Manager is configured to detect leaks using two thermal imagers facing each other with the product running in between. As stated the leaked soap is only a couple degrees colder than the rest of the bottle. So the system will determine the current running average bottle average temperature. A threshold at a small temperature difference below this running average sucessfully detect leaky product. The inspection is done while the product is moving by at about 120 parts per minute, so even tho' the thermal imagers have a finate reponse time and some image blurr is present the leaky products are sucessfully identified.
