Setting up an IO CUBLOC Board
Cubloc supply a low cost usb IO solution. It uses modbus. Both software for the cubloc and workspace to communicate are available at the links below
Info / Setup
- link to device CUSB-22D, Note order serail cable also. 24 Power supply is required
- If the io is not found when it is connected set the port number via the task manager,
- download / install the cubloc software links
- download / install the IO_SharedRam workspace(s)
- download logic on to the board via download port>
- when the cubloc studio is first installed is will be blank,
  Click the open icon on the tool bar and run the logic
- If port not found error check device manager for ports and set the port in cubloc VIA: setup, PC Interface setup... ,
- run cubloc
- change to the operating port and in APP_IOSharedRam run IOCUBLOC.tWS

Ethernet IP slows up

If the PLC is writing faster than we are reading the comunications slows up
Either slow the PLC write interval or speed up the workspace read Interval by setting the number smaller
Anti-virus software ?

Norton can stop the install.

NOTE with Norton you need to disable heuristic scanning / remove heuristic threat. Software providers claim heuristic technologies can find viruses that have previously been unknown, and yet to be discovered and added to virus definition files. Norton's heuristics reject many good files.
Windows 10/11
Recommended "Power Sleep Settings" for Windows 10/11 computers
- Turn off Display = NEVER
- Put the Computer to Sleep = NEVER
- Under related settings go into Additinal power setings.
  - Change Advanced Power settings.
  - Under USB settings Disable suspend so the cameras dont sleep.
  - Under PCI Express turn off power save off.
Run a Sequence as Subroutine
- use the GCinputStep as the first step in the subroutine sequence
- and use the GXexeStep as the calling step
Switch 32bit / 64bit on windows

to install 32bit download and run AutomationManagerWIN32.exe
the main program is runWS32.exe in the install location
program dll are located in the _binWIN32 folder

to install 64bit download and run AutomationMangerWIN64.exe
the main program is runWS.exe in the install location
install dll are located in the _binWIN64 folder

32 and 64bit can be run side by side
Workspaces are portable across Operating Systems
How to make a workspace autostart on bootup
- Start the launcher workspace
- Right click and select add to startup
Delay Start (eg for TIM Camera)
- For delay start up use the DelayStart.tWS inside the AutomationManager folder
- Run and click the wrench and set to the workspace that needs to be delayed and it delay time
- Add to the Auto Start as decribed aboved
Linux Install
- create a folder //synapx
  - sudo mkdir /Synapx
  - chown 777 /Synapx
- unzip / copy into this folder
- if the compand prompt navigate to this folder and ./runWS
- select the installAMAddons
- select office apps...
