Automation Manager used for Truck Frame Straightening.
This is a unique 3D inspection system that uses a single camera (no laser of structured light) to measure frame straightness.
Aimed at Semi repair this frame measurement uses targets and a single camera to check the chasis ie truck frame alignment. This application is available thro BeeLine
Advantages/Benefits. :
- A single integrated application for 3D data acquistion, 3D data analysis, Project Management and Report generation
- The software is easy to calibration
- The calibration appears robust and does not need to be performed often
- A wizard guides the operator thro the process
- Accuracy to under a millimeter in x and y, depth of field perhaps 13m
- Uses only one camra
- linear target are identified by the camera using a barcode (pharma) on the targets
Automation Manager Features used:
- 3D vision/calibration technology (as origonally papered by Zhang)
- Report generation creating custom graphics representing the state of the truck frame. (uses dynamic svg generation)
- Project management system: Uses a xml/folder project stusture.
Report file are either xml or html or csv so completely open - Slide user interface that create customer display and data entry (eg insurance info etc...)
- Pharma bar code reading
- Tailored user interface to customer needs
- Integrated Cannot stress enough one application is doing everything
- very small size software footprint
- combine 3D data aquisition/analysis, project management, reporting and operator user interface- Automation Manager is highly configurable
- easy operator interface can be provided using Automation Manager technology
Hardware used:
- I7 embedded processor
- Dalsa Genie Nano
- IR light (1st Vision)
- Pan and tilt unit controlled by the software
- usb io (comfile)
